There are two main group of rice which catergorized into long grain and short grain. The ones we eat in Sg is long grain rice.. thai frangrant long grain rice.. Sushi? Glutinous Japanese short grain rice, Nasi Bryan? Basmati long grain rice! Risotto? Risotto short grain rice! MANY MANY RICE!!!

TomatoRisotto with pepper and mushroom love! Ingredients (serve 3-4) 2 cups of risotto rice Mix mushrooms,(eg button M , shitake M , oyster M, eiko M) 200g Mix Bell Pepper(Green, Red and yellow) 200g Onion(Chopped) 50g Garlic(Chopped)15g Tomato puree 250ml Stock 250ml Oregano(herbs) Dried pinch Salt pinch Black pepper pinch Oil 2 teaspoon
1) Heat pot, add oil, Add in garlic and onion, Saute till fragrant, add in mushroom and bell pepper, cook for around 5mins, add rice and cook another 5 mins add a bit stock if needed.
2) Add in tomato puree and oregano, stir for few mins in low heat, and add stock just enough to cover the rice, let the rice cook slowly.
